Project management

PV projects depending on the nature of the client are classified as residential, commercial and Utility Scale Application. Depending on the project size, complexity and application category successful completion of such projects within a given time frame and budget will require professional project management . The PV project management requires expertise in a wide range of responsibilities and activities in directing and managing multi-disciplinary issues:

• Act as the single point of contact between the client, the vendors and contractors
• Interface with the Utilities
• Prepare a RFP based on the project specification and budget
• Act as lead/negotiator in vendor (s) and contractor selection
• Structure, negotiate and manage key project agreements with contractors/vendors
• Prepare a project implementation management plan
• Manage relationship with contractors
• Implement project mangement reporting system
• Monitor project progress and performance targets
• Monitor project costs
• Manage relationship with financing sources
• Prepare acceptance test plans
• Hold and participate in project management meetings
